Easter Weekend

This past weekend, we went to my parents house to spend Easter with them. On Saturday, Jacob got to ride on the boat and take a ride on the mule. He loved it! On the boat, Grandpa taught him how to honk the horn, then promptly wished he hadn't taught him since he would not stop doing it! Here are pics of Jacob with everyone but Dad...somehow I missed that. Notice Grandpa laughing because at first, he thought Jacob honking the horn was funny.








On Sunday, we had an Easter egg hunt for Jacob. The pictures below may look like he enjoyed it. However, he did not. I truly think he was trying to figure out why we were making him clean up the front yard. The ONLY egss he picked up and put in the basket are the ones you see here. I, obviously, think they are all cute and can't choose, so I'm putting them all on here!!

Since he didn't enjoy the hunt (and we ended up picking the eggs up ourselves), we thought he might enjoy the confetti eggs. Again, he did not.


















What did he enjoy? His easter basket and, specifically, the Reese's pieces eggs...















And, he enjoyed being silly at Grandma and Grandpa's house.



He did not enjoy wearing Dad's hat...but looked oh so cute in it!






This weekend we are headed to Lorena to celebrate Brynna's birthday and to have the Wiltshire family Easter lunch and egg hunt. I hope Jacob was just bored with no competition at my parent's house and kicks it in gear this weekend. We shall see...
