Friday iPhone Dump #51

So, this past week, I took a lot of pictures in Kemah and Galveston and basically nothing else all week!

We left Friday morning and stopped in Kemah before getting to Galveston. Since Kemah and Pleasure Pier are all owned by the same person, we could buy one wristband and use it both days...awesome.

First stop...the double decker carousel.

Hannah LOVES carousels but Momma does not. So, Randy got to handle both of them at once (Jacob is pretty low maintenance these days).

Then we rode the train.

And I rode an airplane swing thing with Jacob that went high and Randy didn't like (I don't like going round and round and he doesn't like heights...perfect).

He wasn't scared at all. He kept asking to go on the rides that he is too short for!

Lunch break at Bubba Gump.

Back to rides! He couldn't ride the tall drop thing, but he liked this one enough!

Airplane ride...almost too baby of a ride for him.

In the Ferris wheel. Randy looks plenty calm here but believe me, he freaks out when you're stuck at the top and your 14 month old starts moving a little...freaks.

Family picture turned out cute. This is a picture of the picture because I haven't scanned it yet.

This was probably Jacob's favorite ride. Me...not so much. And, we're pretty sure he got slight whip lash from this one. Later that night his neck was hurting and he couldn't turn his head one direction for a few days...oops.

Yes, I stuffed myself into the kiddie Ferris wheel for Hannah.

Selfie on the train!

Just the boys...with a little Hannah photo bombing.

We headed down to Galveston to check into our hotel, eat dinner and see some beach. It was SO foggy there on Friday night. But the kids didn't care! Those are crazy surfers (it was cold) in the background, not sharks. :0)

Pretty girl!

The boys, walking in the sand.
The girls prefer concrete.

Worn out!!

Saturday, we hit up Pleasure Pier. I won't tell you how much Jacob hated these bumper cars that he was driving himself. Let's just say he prefers riding while Momma or Daddy drive. Also, notice his strange head tilt here...that may or may not be the whip lash from the previous day. Oh, you might have whip lash? Great, then try the bumper cars...

They did the water ride...and got pretty wet.

Enjoying lunch (and a beer)!

That evening, we ate dinner at a restaurant called Salsas. Aren't they cute?

We tried another new hairstyle...piggies!

Since Disney bought Lucas Films (Star Wars), I have heard that the Disney Stores in the mall have a lot of Star Wars stuff. There isn't one real close to us in Katy, but there was one on the way home in an outlet mall. After stopping there, we found out that the outlet stores didn't carry the Star Wars stuff yet. Jacob wasn't too upset but did really like this costume...and it was clearanced. :0)

Here he is without the mask...

This is his mask from Christmas...

Because the mask they sold with the costume was terrible. Maybe that's why it was on clearance!!
