On the absolute hottest weekend of the year, we had plans to head to Austin with some friends to attend an outdoor concert. In our defense, we planned this months before so we had no idea how hot it would be. We had a blast seeing some bands I barely knew (but the other 5 people loved) so I was mainly there for the fun!

That week, Jacob and Hannah went to their second Vacation Bible School of the summer at the HUGE Baptist church just outside our neighborhood. Hannah was in a class with 8 out of the 12 kids from her preschool class so she was thrilled! Jacob was with Daxton, one of his best friends, so he enjoyed it too! This church went ALL OUT with decorations so we did a lot of pictures.
And, this was a big week because Jacob got his braces! He didn't love the blue mouthpiece that held his mouth open for a while, but rarely complained about the braces afterwards.
