On Monday, the kids and I headed to Galveston to meet my parents and do some of the tours there we have always wanted to do. First up was the dolphin tour. We did see lots of dolphins and learned some cool stuff about Galveston.
We even got to get up close to a sunken ship.
Next was the Duck tour that goes on land and in the water. It was OK but not as fun as we had hoped!
On Tuesday, I came home by myself and left the kids for 2 nights. Obviously, they didn't have any fun. They went to the new water slides that also has a lazy river...
Which turned out to be more than Hannah could handle. She's sleeping under the towel here.
Rocky enjoyed the time of being the only child...
On the second day, they went to the old water slide and got some candy!
And then it rained but they got to see a pretty rainbow.
The whole trip was a little much for Hannah. This was after I picked them up on the ride home.
We are gearing up for 4th of July with festive hats, necklaces and flags. They had many parades through the house yesterday...
