Friday iPhone Dump #252

Last Saturday was Jacob's second Pine Wood Derby. Last year, he didn't place and we were in and out of there in under 30 minutes.  This year, he did so well among the Wolves that he got to race in the finals.  So, Hannah and I had to come home and eat lunch while the boys ate up there.  We were back in time for the finals.  He won 1st place among the wolves but didn't place (for a trophy) with the whole group.  I think he ended up in 7th overall.  He was SO proud of this even though he didn't help Randy with the car much (or at all) this year!

I love our neighborhood SO much.  Not only can I send my kids down the street to play with friends for hours, occasionally the Fulshear PD stops by to talk to them while they are outside.  One of the other moms sent me this picture.  And although Jacob was scared to go inside the car (even after being told he could), Hannah LOVED it.  They even got to sing over the speaker for all of the neighbors to hear!
Hannah got a bit of an early Valentine's Day present from her Daddy when they went to CVS together.  He knew I would think it was obnoxious so he bought it for her!!
Again...the pretending to drink wine (it's grape juice this time).  Wonder where they learned this from??
