M and Pa also let them pick out some stuff at Five Below. Jacob got this game and wanted to play ALL DAY! He would follow me around, with this thing in his mouth, reading phrases off of cards and I was supposed to guess what he said. It wasn't easy!
Then, they headed to my brother's house to spend one night. They LOVE hanging out with their cousins! First up, selfies in the car.
Then, more dress up and trampoline time. Apparently Jacob was the sheriff.
It was very hot and they needed a break.
Then, they intended to put on a magic show. I hear they got all dressed but never did the magic show.
Time for bed!
For Randy's day off this week, we went to San Marcos and New Braunfels for a few things. First stop was Wonder World in San Marcos. I loved this place as a child and hoped they would too. They did!
We did the train ride to go feed the animals first.
And then waited to go into the cave.
You get to take an elevator out of the cave and up to see San Marcos.
And then, Jacob's favorite part. An anti-gravity house!
After that, we went to what used to be Aquarena Springs. Texas State now owns it and pretty much just does research there. However, they still do the glass bottom boat tours.
We had lunch at the Gristmill in Gruene and snapped a picture in front of Gruene Hall.
And, last was Natural Bridge Caverns in New Braunfels. Here is the "natural bridge".
Heading into the cave...
Hannah in front of the "castle".
Then, Hannah pretty much took over taking pictures with my phone of all of the "pretty stuff". However, the pictures don't come out very well because of the low light. That didn't stop her! I'll spare you the 100 pictures I deleted that she took, but here are a couple that came out.
More dress up time!
