Let's start with happier, healthier times. Last week, Jacob's friend Jamie came over to play.
So, remember last week when Hannah got sick? Anyone want to guess what happened this week?? If you guessed Jacob got sick but much, much worse, you'd be right. As of right now, he's had 5 days of fever that often gets to 103 and higher (and pretty much never drops to normal, even with meds every 3 hours), vomiting, coughing, diarrhea, extreme runny nose and no appetite. For 5 days. Needless to say, he missed all 3 days of school this week when he was supposed to be line leader and celebrate his birthday. These are huge things to miss as a 4 year old! We made a 3:30am trip to the ER yesterday and finally have 2 antibiotics. Let's hope they work!
So, all that to remind you that when he pukes, he busts tiny blood vessels in his face. Here is my freckle looking boy up close.
Hannah just truly doesn't understand why Jacob won't play with her. So, she keeps busy by wiping the cabinets with a wet wipe.
This is closer than I want them when he's this sick, but I allowed it for a picture. This was also the day I said 107 times "Do not kiss Bubba on the mouth!!"
His silly face even looks sick.
Before Little Gym, Hannah and I had a donut date.
And when it was nap time, she ran upstairs and did this. She thinks she is sleeping here one day soon. Yeah right!!
